Rotary lunch.. Jim Moore

Jim Moore has been a member of the NY Rotary since 2017. He manages an investment partnership based on the early investing principles of Warren Buffett. He has been a guest speaker on the topic of investing at NYU’s Stern School of Business, Fordham University, Bowdoin College, and the CFA Society of New York. His research has been published in Bloomberg, Barron’s, Fortune, CNNMoney, and MarketWatch. He’s been investing for over 18 years and has a B.A. in Economics from the University of Waterloo (Canada), and an M.A. in Economics from the University of Southern California (USC).  Originally from a small town in Canada, Jim now lives and works in New York City with his wife.

Demystifying Warren Buffett’s Investing: A Preview of the Annual Berkshire Hathaway Meeting 

What exactly is Berkshire Hathaway, and where did it come from? How did Buffett get involved with it? How did Buffett work his way up to a position of running Berkshire Hathaway? What were his early influences, and investing strategies? What you should expect to hear from Mr. Buffett on May 5 (at the annual meeting). What is going on at Berkshire Hathaway now?
