Dennis Mahoney
Dennis Mahoney’s career spans across both the private and the non-profit sector, focusing on developing local, national, and international partnerships to unlock opportunities, and provide greater access to the marginalized. Dennis is the founder and principal of a consulting firm, AOI Solutions LLC, focusing on impact for organizations through partnership cultivation, coalition building, strategic planning, and performance coaching. Additionally, Dennis is serving as a Distinguished Fellow at the University of Pennsylvania, where he instructs Masters Students on international development. Previously, Dennis Mahoney served as the Director of Integrated Partnerships at Food for the Hungry (FH), an international development and disaster relief NGO that works in communities across eighteen nations. In his role, Dennis cultivated partnerships with the private sector, church denominations, and government entities that integrate into the interventions that FH engages in, whether responding to global disasters, digital equity, or long-term development. Before FH, Dennis led disaster relief teams in the Caribbean and United States. Additionally, Dennis has a background in cyber underwriting and enterprise risk management in the private sector. Dennis serves on the US Global Leadership Coalition’s PA State Advisory Board, the Philly House Board of Directors, the Queen Village Neighborhood Association Board of Directors, is a Buchholz Fellow at the Committee of Seventy, and is participating in the Greater Delaware Valley Policy Fellowship.
Dennis holds an Executive Masters of Public Administration and a Masters of Organizational Dynamics from the University of Pennsylvania. His research and capstones at the University of Pennsylvania focused on Building Resilient Indigenous Capacity in Puerto Rico after Hurricane Maria, and an Ecosystem Approach to Private Sector Partnerships in Development.

November 6, 2025, 6 PM Pyramid Club
Our November speaker was Dr. Hans Kersten, a pediatrician at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children. During his talk, he discussed the hospital’s Reach Out and Read program, which has grown into one of the most successful in the nation, transforming every well-child visit into an opportunity to spark curiosity and confidence through books.
October 9, 2025, 6 PM Pyramid Club
Our October speaker was Jan Biros, District Governor for Rotary District 7450, which encompasses more than forty clubs throughout the Philadelphia and Chester County area. During her talk, Jan shared her goals as District Governor. She emphasized the importance of collaboration and cooperation among clubs. She observed that many clubs tend to operate independently and hopes to foster greater partnerships to amplify Rotary’s overall impact.
September 4, 2025, 6 PM Pyramid Club
Our September speaker was Ryan Ogle, Championship Director for the PGA of America. Ryan spoke about the upcoming PGA Championship that will be held at Aronimink Golf Club in May 2026. Ryan gave an overview of what goes into planning the PGA Championships, the number of people and companies involved, and the economic impact on the local community.
